Learning to shoot is a fun and exciting experience. At the Victor Rod and Gun Club you can get personalized instruction or just learn by shooting with our experienced members. Our members have years and years of shooting knowledge that they are willing to share. Personalized instruction can be purchased as well. Some of our members provide this service to new and inexperienced shooters.
Our students will learn the Rules of Safe Gun Handling, the mechanical operation of pump action, hinge, bolt action and semi automatic shotguns, safe storage of firearms, the components of shot-shell ammunition, shotgun cleaning, the shotgun shooting fundamentals and develop basic marksmanship skills!
Note: In order to register for this course, students Must be at least 21 years of age and legally own or possess a modern pump, hinged or semi automatic shotgun with a shoulder stock, safety glasses, ear muffs and twenty five #7.5 or #8 shot shells.
