Victor Rod And Gun Club

Victor Rod & Gun Club was established in 1934 by a group of local Sportsman in the interest of promoting recreational shooting. The club was incorporated three years later, in 1937.  Starting with a plot of three acres, members donated all the materials and labor necessary to construct a combination skeet and trap field.

Over the years, the facility has expanded to 50 acres and six shooting fields.

Today the club continues to operate solely on volunteer support from the membership.

Our Mission

The goal of the Victor Rod & Gun Club (VRGC) is to provide shooting safety training and education and a safe shooting environment for the performance of shooting sport practice and competitions.

President’s Message

The best way to describe Victor Rod and Gun Club (VRGC) is a recreational shooters’ club run by caring members.  We take great pride in providing the best shooting experience possible for our members and guests.  Our shooting venues include four Skeet fields and two Trap fields.  VRGC members include all levels of shooters from the beginners to the “club” shooters, as well as registered shooters.  Our shooters include all ages from youths through to “highly experienced” shooters.  The greatest attribute of the VRGC members is that they are friendly and helpful. We promote a family-oriented shooting environment. VRGC offers many activities for its members.  We have strong participation in the traveling skeet and trap leagues.  We also host two highly regarded registered shoots, the JTH Agency Classic and the WorldWide Summer Classic.  However, most of the members just like to come out and shoot a few rounds and then relax with their friends while enjoying the serenity of the surrounding country landscape. VRGC offers several levels of memberships at modest prices.  We even offer a key program to members, allowing members to shoot whenever their schedule permits.  So come and check us out.  I am confident that you will be glad you did.

Regards,

Wes Bailey, President VRGC
